In May of 2006 David Blaine spent 7 days submerged in a spherical, water filled tank in the middle of Times Square.

The stunt ended with David attempting to hold his breath longer than any human being on record.

When it was all over, they packed up the show and poured all of the water down the city sewer.

Fortunately, one enterprising young man had the notion to ask for some of the water as it was being disposed of. He was allowed to take the water.

I realized that there were probably a lot of people out there who wouldn't mind having a bit of that water in an amulet. Not just other magicians, but anyone who is inspired by David Blaine and his achievements.

I managed to win the auction and was kind of surprised when I received the water. You can tell someone spent a week in it. There are particles and skin flakes in the water as David's skin was peeling very badly throughout the stunt. Seeing the water up close will give you an even deeper appreciation for what he did.

The water comes sealed in an attractive spade shaped glass pendant, with a leather cord attached.

Only 100 will be made.

David Blaine is undoubtedly the Houdini of the new century.
